Product Senior Technical Product Manager: Infrastructure and Platforms at Alpaca

Owns product definition and roadmap for internal infrastructure and platform, prioritizing DevOps and engineering team needs at scale.

Senior Remote Posted about 10 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Who We Are:

Alpaca is a US-headquartered, global leader in agent-first brokerage infrastructure for stocks, ETFs, options, crypto, fixed income, 24⁄5 trading, and more.

Amongst our subsidiaries, Alpaca is a licensed financial services company, serving hundreds of financial institutions across 40 countries with our institutional-grade APIs. This includes broker-dealers, investment advisors, wealth managers, hedge funds, and crypto exchanges, totalling over 10 million brokerage accounts.

Our global team is a diverse group of experienced engineers, traders, and brokerage professionals who are working to achieve our mission of opening financial services to everyone on the planet. We’re deeply committed to open-source contributions and fostering a vibrant community, continuously enhancing our award-winning, developer-friendly API and the robust infrastructure behind it.

Alpaca is proudly backed by $400 million in funding from top-tier global investors including Portage Ventures, Spark Capital, Tribe Capital, Social Leverage, Horizons Ventures, Opera Tech Ventures, SBI Group, Derayah Financial, Unbound, Peak XV, Elefund, and Y Combinator.

Our Team Members:

We’re a dynamic team of 400+ globally distributed members who thrive working from our favorite places around the world, with teammates spanning the USA, Canada, Japan, Hungary, Nigeria, Brazil, the UK, and beyond!

We’re searching for passionate individuals eager to contribute to Alpaca’s rapid growth. If you align with our core values—Stay Curious, Have Empathy, and Be Accountable—and are ready to make a significant impact, we encourage you to apply.

Your Role

Build Alpaca’s internal infrastructure and developer platform as a product. You own the product definition and platform maturity strategy, the intake, the backlog, and the multi-quarter roadmap for Platform & Infrastructure, and you put the rails in place so DevOps, Platform, and Infrastructure teams, and the customers know what to prioritize next. Partnering directly with the VP of Engineering.

Alpaca is building infrastructure for programmable finance at global scale: new countries, global markets, products that must stay centralized, and products that must be deployable in any region. This seat exists so that work has a product owner — platform maturity, CI/CD, cost efficiency and attribution, and the infrastructure dependencies that product engineering keeps discovering too late.

Things You Get To Do

Own infrastructure as a product. Define and evolve a platform maturity model in the open. Internal customers are Alpaca engineers. The north star matches the Platform & Infrastructure charter: self-serve infrastructure on paved golden paths – any engineer can build, ship, authenticate, observe, and scale a service without filing a ticket. You are the product owner for Foundational Infrastructure inside the TPM team: efficiency ( cost attribution / chargeback) and the KPIs that prove the platform is getting easier to consume ( full CI/CD delivery and adoption).

Build the rails for monthly delivery. Teams already carve capacity for on-call, support, and upgrades. What remains is discovery and delivery. You make the next pull from a living roadmap obvious. You keep the central backlog and intake sane. You surface platform and infrastructure dependencies before they become surprises on someone else’s roadmap.

Drive platform maturity until maintenance windows disappear. Short term you will feel the pain of coordinating maintenance windows, runbooks, and market-hours constraints — because you cannot eliminate what you have not operated. The goal is 24⁄7 deployability across open and closed markets, globally.

Make the cost a first-class product surface. Work with infrastructure engineering and Finance on attribution, chargeback, and efficiency. This requires technical judgment: you have to understand why a node, a database, or a pipeline costs what it costs. Cost is one program, not the whole job.

Raise CI/CD and developer-platform adoption. Full CI/CD delivery and adoption is a stated KPI for this seat. Partner with DevOps App (ArgoCD, service mesh, API gateway) and Platform (AuthX, event streaming, DevEx) so golden paths get used, not documented and ignored.

Make infrastructure portable for global scale. Distinguish what must stay centralized to serve all of Alpaca from what must be packaged and deployable in new markets Alpaca will expand to.

Who You Are (Must-Haves)

  • 7+ years as a TPM, product manager technical, or equivalent, with a substantial portion of that time owning infrastructure, platform or developer experience.
  • You have owned a multi-team backlog, intake, and roadmap, and you have run a planning cadence that teams actually use.
  • You are technically fluent to be an equal partner to senior/staff engineers on compute infra, deployment pipelines (CI/CD), data stores, networking, and cost drivers. While you do not need to write production Terraform; you do need to know when a proposal is hand-wavy.
  • You get things done without a reporting line. You have influenced platform adoption across many teams.
  • You write and operate with crisp scope. You can say what this role does not own and still leave no gap.
  • You have worked in a market-hours-sensitive or regulated production environment, or another domain where deploy windows, change risk, and customer trust are real constraints.
  • You use AI and automation to remove program toil rather than add tooling.

Who You Might Be (Nice-to-Haves)

  • You have stood up a platform-maturity model, paved-path program, or internal developer platform.
  • You have eliminated or dramatically reduced maintenance windows or change-freeze culture in a production org.
  • Multi-region or multi-entity infrastructure: packaging a platform so a new region or booking center can be stood up without a hero project.
  • Capital markets, brokerage, or other FinTech infrastructure.

How We Take Care of You:

  • Competitive Salary & Stock Options
  • Health Benefits
  • New Hire Home-Office Setup: One-time USD $500
  • Monthly Stipend: USD $150 per month via a Brex Card

Alpaca is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.

Principal Product Manager, Couchbase Mobile

Location: Remote — US-based

About the Role

Couchbase is hiring a Principal Product Manager to own execution for the Couchbase Mobile portfolio — Couchbase Lite, Sync Gateway / Capella App Services, and Edge Server. This is a mature, widely-adopted portfolio, and this Principal-level role owns the execution rigor — release quality, developer experience, and technical depth of requirements — that keeps it excellent as it grows to support edge and on-device AI use cases.

The portfolio spans a full cloud-to-edge-to-device data layer: Couchbase Lite is the embedded database inside mobile, desktop, and web apps; Sync Gateway and Capella App Services provide self-managed and fully managed sync backends; and Edge Server is our lightweight, resource-constrained edge database for environments. Increasingly, these products also need to support AI-powered applications running at the edge, where data has to stay local, fast, and always available. You’ll need a real point of view on how to extend the portfolio, grounded in hands-on technical judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Turn product strategy for the Couchbase Mobile portfolio (Couchbase Lite, Sync Gateway, Capella App Services, Edge Server) into a detailed, well-sequenced roadmap, and drive it through to shipped, adopted product with rigor.
  • Own end-to-end execution day-to-day: write detailed technical product requirements, partner closely with engineering and design, validate pre-release features hands-on, and contribute to the operational cadence (JIRA, sprint/roadmap reviews, agile ceremonies).
  • Bring operational excellence to a mature, multi-product portfolio — tighten release quality, close gaps in documentation and developer experience, and systematically remove friction that’s built up across established products.
  • Shape how the portfolio supports on-device and edge AI use cases, and turn that into concrete, engineering-ready requirements that keep the mobile/edge products relevant as AI moves to the edge.
  • Work directly with customers and prospects to pressure-test use cases and turn them into functional requirements and clear build/don’t-build calls.
  • Be the first line of product ownership on live customer escalations — working directly with field, sales, and support leadership to unblock accounts, and driving fixes through engineering.
  • Act as the portfolio’s lead technical evangelist: represent Couchbase Mobile in talks, webinars, technical content, and arm sales, solutions engineering, and marketing with the training and positioning they need.
  • Represent the portfolio in cross-org planning with senior leadership — this is leadership through execution excellence and technical depth, not people management.

What You Need

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a track record of driving flawless execution for a mature product or portfolio at scale — distributed systems, databases, or developer platforms strongly preferred.
  • In addition to the PM experience above, 3+ years of hands-on software development experience — writing or architecting production applications yourself, not just working alongside engineers who do.
  • Demonstrated ability to take an already-successful, mature product and materially improve how well it’s executed — release quality, operational rigor, developer experience — not just an ability to conceive new products from scratch.
  • A genuine technical/developer background: you’ve built or architected client-side applications (mobile, desktop, or web) yourself, and you’re comfortable prototyping. Fluency in client mobile app technologies (Flutter, KMM etc) is a plus.
  • Practical understanding of the concepts behind complex distributed systems — high availability, disaster recovery, security and access control — and how they apply not just to mobile/embedded apps but to server-side sync infrastructure (Sync Gateway, Capella App Services). Familiarity with a public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • A working, opinionated understanding of edge computing and AI concepts relevant to on-device and edge inference — and the judgment to turn that into product strategy rather than buzzwords.
  • AI-forward in how you work, not just what you ship: you already use AI tools in your own day-to-day PM process (requirements, research, analysis) and push that adoption across the team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills is a must: equally comfortable in a deep technical design review with engineers and in front of customers, press, or executive leadership.
  • Fluency with agile development process and tooling (JIRA or equivalent), and experience operating in a fast-moving, cross-functional org without waiting to be told what to do.
  • A high bar for ownership — hard-working, self-directed, and comfortable setting direction under ambiguity and driving alignment across engineering, marketing, and sales without formal authority.
  • A strong team player — curious and collaborative, with plenty of good ideas to contribute, and happy to take the time to learn the product and the team.

The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.

Base Pay Range

We value diverse educational and career backgrounds. If your experience aligns with the role’s goals—even if it doesn’t follow a traditional path—we’d love to hear from you.

Product Senior Product Manager (AI CICD) at Chainguard

Senior Product Manager drives vision, strategy, and roadmap for a new AI CI/CD product built for code-writing agents, including 0→1 product development and design partner engagement.

Senior Posted about 14 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Chainguard is the trusted source for open source. By delivering hardened, secure, and production-ready builds of all the open source software engineers and AI agents rely on, Chainguard helps organizations build faster, stay compliant, and eliminate risk.

Our customers include Fortune 500 enterprises and global industry leaders, including Anduril, Canva, Fortinet, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, OpenAI, Snap Inc., and Snowflake.

Chainguard is venture-backed by leading investors, including Amplify, IVP, Kleiner Perkins, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mantis VC, Redpoint Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Spark Capital.

Senior Product Manager, AI CI/CD

The role, in a nutshell:

Chainguard secures the software supply chain, and we’re standing up a new team to build a new product inside it.

Agents now write a large and growing share of the world’s code, and they inherited a CI system designed for humans who push a few times a day. Write, push, wait in a queue, reinstall the same toolchain, scrape the logs, try again. Agents iterate far more often than people do, so they feel every minute of that, and the workarounds they’ve grown are worse than the thing they’re working around. We don’t think the fix is a faster version of the CI you already have. We think CI gets rebuilt for agents, and that’s what we’re doing.

The product isn’t launched, so a job post is the wrong place for the details. What we can tell you now: the team is small, the hard technical pieces already run in production inside Chainguard, and you’d be driving the product direction.

What you’ll own:

  • Strategy and roadmap. Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the product. Decide what we build first, what comes next, and what we’re not going to do.
  • 0→1 product work. Take this from a system that works for us to a product customers buy and use. Bring structure to problems that don’t have any yet, make the tradeoff calls, and get things in front of users before they feel finished.
  • How agents actually build software. Go deep on how developers and their agents write, test, review, and ship code today, including the parts nobody blogs about. Most of what’s written about agentic development is aspirational. You’ll work from what people really do.
  • Design partners. Find the teams whose agent fleets are big enough to hurt, get the product into their hands early, and turn what they tell you into priorities.
  • Developer experience. Adoption is the whole game here. Own how the product gets tried, configured, and lived with, so a team can move onto it without running a migration project.
  • Launch. Positioning, naming, docs, the pricing model, and the story, with Product Marketing and the rest of Product. You’re also the person who says when it’s ready.
  • Cross-functional leadership. Partner with Engineering, Experience, Product Marketing, and other Product leaders, and keep a small team pointed at the same thing while the space shifts underneath it.

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of product management experience on developer-facing, infrastructure, security, or similarly technical products.
  • You’ve built agent tools. Something agents use, or something people use to build with agents: a coding agent, an agent framework or harness, MCP servers, eval systems, or developer tooling meant to be driven by a model instead of a person. This is the requirement that matters most to us.
  • You know CI from the inside. Builds, tests, caches, runners, artifacts, merge gates, and the specific reasons pipelines end up slow, flaky, and expensive. You should have opinions about why.
  • You don’t need to be a GitHub Actions expert. We’re not building a better Actions, and years of workflow YAML isn’t the experience we’re hiring for. Knowing where it breaks is.
  • Experience taking a technical product from an early idea through launch and iteration.
  • Judgment about what to leave out. A new product dies from doing too much as easily as from doing too little.
  • Comfort with a deeply technical engineering team. You can hold your own in a design discussion and disagree with an engineer about a tradeoff.
  • You talk to developers directly and often, and you can tell the difference between technology people find interesting and a product they’ll actually adopt.
  • You write well. We make decisions in documents here.
  • You can operate on your own in a fast-moving area with no established playbook.

Nice to haves

  • You’ve run coding agents in production at real volume, or built the systems that keep them from breaking things.
  • Experience with developer platforms, build systems, remote execution, or hosted development environments.
  • Experience with containers, Kubernetes, registries, or other cloud-native infrastructure.
  • You’ve built security products for developers, and you know how fast a developer abandons one that gets in the way.
  • Experience with products that serve individual developers and large enterprises at the same time.
  • You’ve owned your own team’s CI at some point and hated it.

Product Senior Product Manager (AI CICD) at Chainguard

Drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a new AI CI/CD platform designed to optimize how AI agents build and iterate on code.

  • ∞ Flexible Time Off: Take the time you need – to do our best work, we need to recharge and reset.
  • 18 Weeks Paid Parental Leave: We offer 18 weeks for birthing parents and 12 weeks for non-birthing parents, with the option to use it all at once or throughout your child’s first year.

If your experience is close but doesn’t fulfill all requirements, please apply. We’re building the best team in technology and are focused on hiring “Chainguardians” with unique backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.

We offer our clients cutting-edge tools to attract attention from a fast-growing segment within the Health & Wellness industry, the values-based consumer. Nearly half of shoppers prioritize products that emphasize wellness, social responsibility, and sustainable practices. SPINS retail consumer insights, analytics, and consulting services give our clients a competitive advantage to increase their share of this growing market. Our data is the most comprehensive and accurate in the industry, allowing clients to power AI models and machine learning algorithms that help them better understand and meet their customers’ needs. At SPINS, behind all of our impressive data is our real differentiator, our people. We pride ourselves on our collaborative, flexible, and communicative culture that puts people at the center of everything we do.

Senior Manager, Product Management

SPINS is looking for a Sr. Manager of Product Management to join the Commercial Applications Team. The Commercial Applications team supports the SPINS Portal, the shared gateway and utility layer that serves all SPINS applications — including Intelligence, Journey, and Foundry.Commercial Applications also just launched SPINS Intelligence, our flagship AI-powered analytics platform serving hundreds of CPG brands, brokers, and retailers. This is a player-coach role. You will set product strategy, align stakeholders, and make prioritization calls — but you will also roll up your sleeves and write stories, triage bugs with clients, review sprint output, and build deep firsthand expertise in the product and data. We need a leader who earns credibility through knowledge and execution, not just title. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with strong CPG industry acumen and a genuine willingness to dive into the work.

What You Will Do

  • Set Product Strategy — Contribute to the vision and roadmap for SPINS Intelligence and Portal. Balance innovation, commercial impact, and cross-application needs across the business.
  • Drive AI & Automation — Lead where AI, NLP, and automation create real client value — from the Workflow Utilities to natural-language querying to agentic analytics. Make grounded build-vs-partner decisions.
  • Be Hands-On — Write stories, define acceptance criteria, triage client issues, and review sprint deliverables. Model the standard you expect from your team.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution — Partner with Engineering, Data, Design, Commercial, and Finance to ship quality product. Drive provisioning, onboarding, and GTM for major launches.
  • Build & Develop the PM Team — Mentor, and develop PMs. Establish operating rhythms, quality standards, and a culture of ownership and honest communication.
  • Engage Clients & Market — Spend real time with brand, broker, and retailer clients to understand workflows and pain points. Translate field insight into product direction.
  • Manage Product Economics — Own KPIs, revenue contribution, COGS, adoption data, and capacity. Build business cases for investment.

What You Bring

  • 6–12+ years in CPG/ product management, 3+ years leading PMs or cross-functional product teams
  • Deep experience building SaaS analytics platforms, data products, or BI solutions — ideally in CPG, retail, or market research
  • Strong CPG industry knowledge: you understand how brands, brokers, and retailers use syndicated data and analytics day-to-day
  • Proven ability to set strategy and also operate hands-on — writing stories, triaging bugs, engaging directly with clients
  • Experience shipping AI/ML-powered capabilities (NLP, workflow automation, recommendations, or similar)
  • Strong technical acumen — comfortable with data pipelines, APIs, Snowflake/GCP, and engineering trade-off discussions
  • Excellent communication: boardroom to backlog, exec presentations to story acceptance criteria
  • Experience with Agile tools and practices (Jira, Pendo, etc.)

Preferred

  • Experience with SPINS, IRI/Circana, Nielsen, or similar syndicated data platforms
  • Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, or agentic AI product design
  • Background building portal/platform strategies that unify multiple applications under a shared experience
  • PE-backed or high-growth environment experience

Salary Range: $130,000-$140,000
