Lead test strategy and quality assurance for a real-money settlement platform, designing coverage to ensure financial correctness and auditable money movement.
QA Lead
About the opportunity
Lead the test strategy for a real-money platform, proving settlement math cannot leak, double-pay, or drift while building a traceable test-case library from scratch.
About our client Our client is preparing two AI-driven platforms for enterprise readiness, with a focus on security, correctness, and financial integrity ahead of a production launch.
What you’ll do
Own the test strategy for the settlement engine: design coverage that proves settlement math is correct and cannot leak, double-pay, or drift.
Test the closed-loop money-movement path end to end and verify it is fully auditable.
Drive security testing at the RPC / SECURITY DEFINER layer, where the real business logic lives.
Verify access controls — 21+ age gating and identity verification — gate before any funds move (subject to Persona credential availability).
Author a traceable test-case library from scratch and stand up the shared defect tracker (Linear or Jira).
Report defects with precise repro steps; the client remediates and you re-test (you find, they fix, you verify).
Coordinate sandbox testing across OpenNode (settlement, test mode) and Resend (email).
Lead the CALL-IT pod.
What you bring (must-haves)
Senior QA / test-engineering experience on systems handling money, transactions, ledgers, or settlement — required, not adjacent.
Strong SQL / Postgres, ideally including stored-procedure or SECURITY DEFINER function testing.
Experience testing payment, settlement, ledger, or wallet flows, with an instinct for where money leaks or double-counts.
Working knowledge of Next.js / API-driven web apps and how to test an RPC layer.
Ability to design coverage where none exists and lead a small pod.
Rigorous, reproducible defect reporting in clear written English.
Bonus points for (nice-to-haves)
Fintech, payments, iGaming, testing background.
Familiarity with Supabase and Vercel.
Exposure to KYC / identity-verification flows (e.g., Persona) and age-gating.
Understanding of Bitcoin / Lightning settlement (e.g., OpenNode).
Perks & benefits 💻 Equipment provided — none of that “bring your own device” stuff here
🛡️ Full back-office support — Legal, Accounting, HR Business Partner, and Delivery team
🧠Career and cultural mentoring — how to show up, stand out, and navigate US work culture
🗣️ Free English lessons with a native speaker
🤝 Referral bonus — recommend Ubi to your tech friends and get paid for it
🏖️ Florianópolis HQ always open — 100% remote, but the office is there whenever you want it.

Owns QA strategy, release processes, and testing infrastructure for a mobile app, managing quality gates and leading release decisions end-to-end.
We prioritize learning and teamwork and love giving people the opportunity to champion solutions to big challenges and grow into better versions of themselves. A great candidate believes in Raya’s vision, which is to enrich lives by fostering relationships through quality, in person interactions. You thrive at the intersection of quality and shipping, and you’re excited to build the release systems, quality gates, and testing strategy that let Raya ship a consumer app our members trust every time.
Quality Strategy: Own the QA strategy across automated and manual testing, deciding what we automate, what we test by hand, and what we accept as risk, with regression coverage on critical paths like onboarding, payments, subscriptions, messaging, and login, including where third-party testing services and AI-assisted QA tooling fit in.
Visibility and Communication: Maintain the release calendar and Quality scorecards including report crash rates, defect escape rates, and release health to leadership
Continuous Improvement: Run release retros, turn incidents and escaped defects into durable process fixes, and connect release decisions to the incident response process
Release Ownership: Run the release process end-to-end for the Raya iOS app from predictable release trains with clear cut, freeze, and submission dates through App Store submission, phased rollout, and rollback/fix forward
Go/No-Go Process: Define release readiness criteria, lead go/no-go decision making
6+ years in software quality, release management, or engineering, with 3+ years managing people
Deep knowledge of the App Store release lifecycle: TestFlight, phased release, expedited review, and rejection handling
Experience with subscription and payment flows on iOS
Experience building test automation strategy for mobile, including real-device testing, feature flags, and progressive rollouts
Experience deciding the split between automated and manual testing, and managing third-party QA or crowdtesting vendors
Fluency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, and strong knowledge of Git branching strategies for mobile release workflows
Clear, direct written communication
Systems Builder: You build process and automation, so release quality depends on systems rather than memory
Impact-driven: You focus regression and automation coverage on the paths that matter most to members, rather than chasing full coverage everywhere
Ownership mentality: You take escaped defects from discovery to root cause to prevention
Bridge Builder: You partner with engineering managers, product, and leadership, embedding quality into everyday workflows while balancing team velocity
Bias toward shipping and iteration: You improve the release process incrementally in short cycles rather than waiting for a perfect system

We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. The Senior Project Manager, GTM Launch owns the launch management system that gets Dutchie’s feature and product launches from ready-to-launch through adoption and measurable impact across our full product suite. This is a senior, autonomous role within Revenue Operations, acting as the connective tissue across Product, Engineering, Enablement, Marketing, Support, go-to-market teams, and most importantly, our customers.
You will lead complex launches with minimal oversight, proactively surface risk before it becomes an escalation, and own change management for both internal teams and customers. You’ll be equally comfortable driving a cross-functional operating cadence, influencing senior stakeholders when scope or timing is at risk, and pulling adoption data yourself to measure success and impact.
Success is not simply shipping on time; it is ensuring teams are ready, customers understand the value, adoption follows, and each launch makes the next one better.
We are targeting a starting salary of $102,000 - $138,000 based on the intended level for this role.
In addition to cash compensation, our total rewards package includes:
