Support Senior Client Success Manager – New York, NY at Cordial

Strategic advisor and executive relationship owner for enterprise clients, accountable for client outcomes, renewals, upsells, and long-term strategic direction.

Senior Onsite Posted 11 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

ABOUT CORDIAL

We founded Cordial in 2014 on the belief that there should be more humanity and empathy in marketing—both in how brands communicate with their customers and in how technology companies work with brands. We built our company and platform purposefully, driven by a desire to inspire more thoughtful communication and to create experiences that feel more personal and human—for consumers, for the people at the companies we work with, and for Cordial employees. Today, brands like PacSun, Revolve, Abercrombie & Fitch, Realtor.com, L.L. Bean and Forbes rely on Cordial to drive revenue growth by sending a better message.

We chose the name Cordial to symbolize how we empower our clients to communicate with their customers, as well as how we do business: with transparency, collaboration, and trust. We’re building a passionate team of individuals willing to learn, grow, and be thoughtfully challenged on a daily basis to continuously improve our product, company, and culture every single day.

OUR VALUES

  • Communicate better than the rest
  • Own it, every time
  • Solve client problems tenaciously
  • Make Waves

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Client Success Manager reports to the Senior Director of Client Success and serves as the strategic advisor and executive relationship owner for a portfolio of Cordial’s enterprise clients. Cordial operates a solutions-led model, meaning the Solutions team owns day-to-day client execution: platform configuration, technical problem-solving, and program delivery. The Senior CSM operates above that layer, accountable for client outcomes, commercial performance, and long-term strategic direction. This role is the connective tissue between the client’s business goals and everything Cordial brings to bear on their behalf. Core focus areas include executive engagement, strategic roadmap development, full commercial ownership (renewals and upsells), AI-informed client strategy, escalation management, and proactive competitive positioning.

This role is located in NY and the individual must be willing to visit a client on average 2x per week in the city.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Serve as the strategic advisor. You are the client’s most senior point of contact at Cordial. Not the day-to-day operator, but the person they call when they’re thinking about where their program needs to go next. You bring a point of view, challenge their thinking, and connect their business goals to Cordial’s capabilities in ways that drive measurable impact.

Own client outcomes, not client tasks. Cordial’s Solutions team handles day-to-day execution. Your job is to ensure that work is always moving in the right direction, aligned to the client’s success plan, tied to their business objectives, and delivered with the level of quality that retains and grows the relationship. You’re accountable for outcomes.

Lead executive engagement. You own business relationships all the way to the C-suite within your client portfolio. You run executive business reviews, bring strategic recommendations, and position Cordial as a long-term growth partner, not just a vendor.

Drive the strategic roadmap. You develop and maintain a forward-looking success plan for each client that reflects their business priorities, martech strategy, and Cordial’s evolving capabilities, including AI-driven features. You help clients think beyond their current program and see what’s possible.

Own the full commercial relationship. You own renewals, upsells, and expansion end to end: from forecasting and opportunity identification through negotiation and contract execution. You proactively find growth by understanding where clients can go deeper with Cordial across new channels, expanded use cases, and emerging capabilities.

Bring AI into the conversation. You stay genuinely current on how AI is reshaping marketing: predictive personalization, send-time optimization, generative content, intelligent segmentation. You help clients understand how to apply these capabilities within Cordial and bring that fluency into every strategy conversation.

Manage escalations with authority. When something goes wrong, clients look to you. You lead escalations with calm and accountability, coordinating internally across Solutions, Product, and Engineering, and communicating clearly with client stakeholders until resolution.

Protect and grow the portfolio. You stay ahead of competitive threats, track client health proactively, and identify risk early. You don’t wait for a renewal conversation to surface a problem.

Represent CS cross-functionally. You are the client’s voice internally, partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to surface client needs, inform the roadmap, and contribute to Cordial’s go-to-market narrative.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 7+ years in an enterprise client-facing role at a SaaS company, with a strong preference for experience in email, SMS, or digital marketing technology
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience operating in a solutions-led or delivery-led model where you owned strategy and outcomes while a technical team owned execution
  • Full commercial ownership experience; you’ve carried a renewal and upsell number, managed forecasts, and driven net revenue retention across a portfolio
  • A track record of building and maintaining VP and C-suite relationships within enterprise accounts
  • Genuine technical curiosity; you can engage meaningfully with a client’s data architecture and martech stack without needing to be the one building it
  • Genuine curiosity about AI and its application in marketing technology; you follow the space, experiment with tools, and can translate AI capabilities into real business outcomes for clients
  • Comfort using AI tools in your own workflow to drive efficiency, surface insights, and elevate the quality of client work
  • Excellent communication skills across audiences; you can lead a strategic roadmap session with a CMO and hold your own in a technical escalation call
  • A proven ability to work cross-functionally, particularly with Product, Engineering, and Sales
  • Strong organizational skills; you manage a complex portfolio without losing track of the details that matter
  • Comfort with ambiguity; you’ve thrived in fast-moving, high-autonomy environments before

BONUS POINTS

  • Experience in the enterprise marketing automation space
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Harvest, or similar project and time-tracking platforms
  • Hands-on experience with email or digital marketing technology, including personalization, segmentation, and advanced automation

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

$115,000.00 - $145,000.00 base salary annually. The compensation range may be adjusted based on experience and location. In combination with base salary, Cordial’s compensation package includes equity and bonus, a robust benefit plan (medical/dental/vision/life), 401k match, and flexible time off. Additionally, we offer perks such as childcare and continued education yearly reimbursements. We pride ourselves in maintaining a healthy work/life balance, a strong dedication to DE&I efforts, and an overall respectful and open culture!

Cordial is proud to be an equal opportunity employer that celebrates diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive workplace with equal opportunity for all applicants. Our goal is to recruit the most talented people from a diverse candidate pool regardless of race, color, ancestry, national origin, religion, disability status, sex (including pregnancy), age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.

Cordial is committed to working with and providing access and reasonable accommodation to applicants with mental and/or physical disabilities. If you require an accommodation, please reach out to your recruiter once you’ve begun the interview process. Support Senior Client Success Manager – New York, NY at Cordial

Strategic advisor and executive relationship owner for enterprise clients, managing long-term outcomes, renewals, upsells, and competitive positioning.

What this role involves

Who we are

At Domino, we build software that helps the largest, AI-driven organizations build and operate advanced data science and AI solutions at scale. Our platform integrates a streamlined model development environment, MLOps capabilities, and novel features for collaboration, reuse, and reproducibility — all of which make data science teams more productive, reduce time to value, and ensure compliance. Our customers — like Johnson & Johnson, GSK, Bristol Myers, UBS, FINRA and the US Navy — are using our software to solve some of the most important challenges in the world, such as developing new medicines, securing our financial markets, or protecting our country. Backed by Sequoia Capital, Coatue Management, NVIDIA, Snowflake and other leading investors, we have been in business for a decade but are still a small team operating with the spirit of a startup. Especially in the world of AI today, we believe that the future is still being invented — and we want to be the ones building it. For more information, visit www.domino.ai

What we are building

As a Technical Support Engineer, you’re the bridge between our customers and our Engineering organization. You’ll own technical support cases end-to-end, triaging issues across Kubernetes infrastructure, ML platform components, authentication, data connectivity, and model deployment, and ensuring every customer gets a clear and timely resolution. You’ll also contribute to the knowledge base that helps the whole team scale.

What your impact will be

  • Own support cases for enterprise customers across all severity levels, from initial triage through resolution, with clear communication and accurate expectations throughout
  • Diagnose and resolve Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure issues: pod failures, resource limits, persistent volumes, RBAC, ingress, and cluster-level diagnostics
  • Troubleshoot ML platform problems including workspace and job failures, environment build errors, model deployment issues, and data connector failures
  • File detailed, actionable bug reports and enhancement requests in Jira and act as the customer’s advocate with Product and Engineering
  • Write and review knowledge base articles, how-to guides, and troubleshooting docs, building the reference layer that helps customers and teammates solve problems faster
  • Hand off cases cleanly in a follow-the-sun model across AMER, EMEA, and APAC, ensuring continuity for global enterprise accounts
  • Run live troubleshooting sessions with customers via video call and participate in EMEA weekend on-call rotation per team schedule

What we look for in this role

  • 3 to 5 years in enterprise technical support, solutions engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role at a SaaS or data/AI platform company
  • Hands-on Kubernetes: pod lifecycle, kubectl, RBAC, namespaces, persistent volumes, and cluster-level troubleshooting
  • Strong Linux and command-line proficiency: log analysis, process management, file system navigation, and shell scripting
  • Familiarity with Python-based ML workflows: Jupyter, package management, model training and serving
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized application environments
  • Methodical troubleshooter: you form a hypothesis, test it, and adapt when the logs disagree with your theory
  • Clear written communicator: your case updates and KB articles don’t require a follow-up to understand
  • Comfortable managing multiple open, time-sensitive cases without losing the thread on any of them
  • Works well asynchronously across time zones in a remote-first, globally distributed team
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)

What you will do as a Customer Engineer

The Customer Engineer (CE) is the core driver of our technical go-to-market strategy: a trusted technical advisor and primary architect of the customer journey. You will bridge the gap between technical strategy and business value—guiding enterprise clients from initial pre-sales technical validation through onboarding, deployment architecture, and full lifecycle expansion. Sitting within the GTM organization and reporting to a Customer Engineering Leader, you will not hand off your customers once an initial agreement is reached. Instead, you will operate as a quota-carrying technologist, leveraging AI-augmented workflows to eliminate administrative toil so you can focus on high-value architectural design and driving measurable business outcomes across the entire customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Validation: Partner closely with Account Executives to lead technical deep-dive discovery, capture business requirements, and map complex customer infrastructure - DNS, CDN, Zero Trust, Network Security, Workers - to fit-for-purpose Cloudflare architectures and bespoke solutions. . Define, scope, success criteria, and technical evaluations plans for Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and Technical Validations. Deliver tailored technical presentations, architectural diagrams, and demonstrations that show how Cloudflare solves specific performance, security, and reliability challenges. Proactively address complex technical objections, security compliance questions, and edge-case architectural requirements during the sales cycle. Take accountability for a suitable solution deployment strategy (Customer, Partner or Cloudflare Professional services) being an integral part of all proposals.
  • Customer Adoption & Value Realization: Provide oversight to technical onboarding and implementation, but not execute the implementation, serving as the primary executive and engineering contact for the customer. Design structured migration and onboarding blueprints tailored to the customer’s environment (e.g. DNS migrations, Zero Trust rollouts, WAF tuning guidance), and act as the lead consultant for customer engineering teams, walking them step-by-step through configuration best practices.  Partner with Account Executives to own discovery, demos, onboarding, technical health, risk, and expansion strategy. Proactively monitor customer health scores and telemetry to ensure rapid time-to-value, resolve integration bottlenecks, and reduce deployment risk.
  • Commercial Accountability & Expansion: Carry a variable quota tied directly to new business acquisition and/or ongoing account growth. Be commercially accountable for ensuring deep platform adoption, retaining revenue, and identifying strategic cross-sell and up-sell opportunities based on product usage data. Lead technical Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to translate platform capabilities into return on investment for C-level executives.
  • Trusted Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the entire customer lifecycle, maintaining a continuous, deep relationship with key stakeholders from initial onboarding through maturity, renewal, and expansion. Provide thought partnership on architecture, AI control layers, security posture, and deployment confidence. Identify potential deployment risks or integration bottlenecks early, and provide remediation strategies to de-risk customer outcomes.
  • AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Leverage AI agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), and internal platforms to automate routine tasks such as RFP/Security Questionnaire responses, sandbox provisioning, basic telemetry monitoring, and internal/external documentation, reclaiming your time for strategic customer advisory.
  • Education & Enablement: Partner closely with the Enablement Team to design, build, and govern technical resources. Define, document, and educate both internal teams and customers on deliverables such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), architectural best practices, and technical guides to continuously raise the technical baseline across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: Experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Professional Services,  Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or as a Forward Deployed Engineer (years of experience required will vary based on Associate, Senior, Staff, or Principal leveling).
  • Architectural Mindset: Ability to white-board, design, and articulate complex enterprise network and security architectures clearly.
  • Consultative & Advisory Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate deeply technical concepts into business outcomes for both hands-on engineers and C-level executives.
  • Commercial Mindset: Proven track record of operating in a quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environment, with a strong understanding of SaaS metrics, business value translation, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and stakeholder management skills, capable of bridging the gap between deep technical implementation details and high-level C-suite business strategy.
  • Technical Breadth: We do not expect every candidate to be an expert in every domain. Qualified candidates will demonstrate depth in at least four of the technical areas below:
    • Internet fundamentals: Deep understanding of how the Internet works, including OSI Model layers 1–7, BGP, GRE, TCP/UDP, DNS (authoritative and recursive), HTTP(S), and SSL/TLS.
    • Security: Expertise in the security of Internet properties, including WAF, Bot Management, Firewalls, Rate Limiting, (M)TLS, Zero Trust, and SASE concepts.
    • Performance: Expertise in the performance of Internet properties, including speed, latency, caching, video streaming, HTTP/2, and TLS 1.3.
    • AI Proficiency: Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI-assisted scripting and log analysis, LLM utilization, and workflow automation to augment everyday CE workflows.
    • Coding/Scripting: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Bash, Lua, Go, or similar languages to write custom integration scripts, API connectors, and edge computing functions.
    • Developer Platform Fluency: Experience designing, building, deploying or scaling applications using RESTful/GraphQL APIs, SDKs, webhooks, and developer tooling in cloud-native environments. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi), CI/CD pipelines, and observability for developer-led deployments.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications (The “Good-to-Haves”)

  • Technical Enablement: Track record of creating and delivering technical enablement - workshops, code samples, documentation, or developer onboarding - that accelerates customer adoption of complex platforms.
  • Applied AI Knowledge: Experience with LLM orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, and model-access controls.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC 2.

Support Senior Technical Support Engineer at Domino Data Lab

Owns end-to-end technical support cases for enterprise customers, diagnosing Kubernetes, ML platform, and infrastructure issues while serving as the bridge between customers and engineering.

Senior Posted 12 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product

  • Develop a strong understanding of each client’s goals, contract terms, performance expectations, and growth opportunities.

  • Experience managing senior client relationships and delivering strong business results.
  • Complex Problem-Solving & Analytical Reasoning: Strong ability to synthesize complex performance data, diagnose root operational issues, and turn insights into actionable strategic solutions.
  • Emotional Intelligence & Stakeholder Management: Proven capability to build trust, navigate high-stakes client discussions, address performance gaps directly, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams under pressure.
  • Agile Context Switching: High cognitive flexibility to seamlessly shift between high-level executive strategy presentations and granular, day-to-day operational execution and troubleshooting.
  • Sustained Focus & Multi-Project Management: Capability to maintain end-to-end accountability, prioritize, and drive multiple client accounts, implementations, and internal initiatives to completion simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a willingness to take ownership and follow issues through to resolution.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in consulting, business operations, strategy, or a similar role.
  • Experience managing performance metrics, implementations, or service operations.
  • Experience growing client accounts or identifying expansion opportunities.
